Home School Course

A great fit for both puppies and adult dogs, this course blends personalised training with practical life skills to support a calm, connected relationship. Sessions are tailored to your lifestyle so you can feel confident at home, on walks, and everywhere in between. Build the happy, balanced partnership you have always wanted with your dog.

£250 - 4 x 75 minute sessions

Note: All sessions must be completed within 3 months period.

This flexible course is designed to help develop trust and connection with your dog. Sessions are fully personalised and tailored to your lifestyle, focusing on real-world skills that make everyday life smoother and outings more fun. I will help you build a life you and your dog love together!

Sessions take place in your home (or a mutually agreed location) with the final session held in a park or outdoor space to practise everything you have learnt so far.

Although these are one-to-one sessions, your dog won’t miss out on social opportunities. In fact, this format allows us to introduce more distractions than they would experience in a class environment,  including other dogs, at a pace that supports your dog’s confidence and sets them up for long term success.

What’s Included:

  • 4 x One-to-One Sessions (75 minutes each) – Each session is fully tailored to suit your dog’s needs, your goals, and your lifestyle. On the first session we will address any behaviours that you are concerned about so that you can begin to feel more confident right away. Going forward, we can follow a core structure, or we can focus on key areas that are important to you. The course really is centred around you and your dog.
  • Learning resources – You will have access to handouts and videos on some of exercises to further support your learning.
  • Ongoing support – Throughout the course you can contact me via WhatsApp or email for questions, clarification, or additional support between sessions.
  • Real-World Practice – Your final session takes place in an outdoor environment, giving you both the chance to put new skills into practice with real-life distractions.
  • Celebration of Success – All graduates receive a certificate and rosette to mark their achievements.

Common topics include:

  • Mouthing
  • Sleeping through the night
  • Car travel
  • Play
  • Coming back when called (recall)
  • Loose lead walking
  • Basic obedience: sit, down, wait/stay
  • Toilet training
  • Dog body language and communication
  • Everyday manners and calm behaviour

Whether its just you and your dog, or a large family group, everyone can be involved. This course really does cover all the basics, because life skills are the foundation of lifelong success.
